No experience in microscopy is required as our Lab Technician can show you all you need to know. Bring your own samples, or get lost in the massive collection of slides at ASCUS Lab.

Health and Safety Induction

Before diving into the world of microscopy everyone who is new to the lab must undergo a brief lab health and safety induction.
Microscopy Training
£34/hour
Never used a microscope outside of a school setting many moons ago? No problem! We offer one on one training to get you equipped to using different types of illumination techniques and slide preparation to explore the unseen world.

£8/£7.20*
Perfect for those with previous experience or training in microscopy or once you feel comfortable working independently after training with our technician. This is the right option if you do not require assistance and are happy to use the equipment independently.
