INTERLINKED|EARTH, SOIL + FILTH| EXHIBITION

Soil is alive. Soil is an indicator of the future and a record of our human struggle – it’s a means of making sense of the world. When degraded, all life is threatened; eradicating civilisations and restructuring social narratives. Created by interdisciplinary artist Agatha Smith, EARTH, SOIL + FILTH is an inquiry into our collective and shared experience of the frequencies of the earth. Relating the health and wellness of soil to our own existence, Smith looks to encourage the viewer to perceive the environmental crisis in alternative literacies.

Summerhall and ASCUS Art & Science are proud to present LOST as part of Interlinked, a series of contemporary art exhibitions part of the Edinburgh Science Festival.
