In April 2025, we gathered at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) to celebrate the culmination of Surface Echoes — a powerful, multi-year collaboration at the intersection of art, science that amplifies the voices of people living with eczema through 3 different resources.

The Surface Echoes project is an interdisciplinary collaboration involving a range of different creative practitioners. The creative aspect of the collaboration has shifted and expanded over the course of the project, bringing together a rich variety of talents and expertise at different stages. We are delighted to introduce the creative team! 

In January 2024 we hosted a workshop with people living with eczema to respond to the work produced thus far.

In July 2023 we joined the Eczema Outreach Support Youth Panel’s online meeting to get their thoughts and experiences of living with eczema.

In March 2023 we hosted the pilot workshop for the collaborative project, Surface Echoes: Amplifying the voices of people living with eczema.
