Ethnograms micro-residency kicks off

We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Anthropologists from the University of Edinburgh to deliver the Ethnograms micro-residency, leading to a £5,000 artists commission.


Ethnograms: A micro-residency for artists, designers, programmers an anthropologists

Date: 21st – 23rd May, 2014
Location: Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh

The participants have been selected and the Ethnograms micro-residency kicked off with a welcome evening and presentation session in the Chrystal Macmillan Building, George Square, University of Edinburgh. The selected participants range from artists, designers, programmers and illustrators. The group will work together over the next couple of days interpreting and engaging with the anthropological research of Alice Street and Jamie Cross. This activity will culminate in an experimental and collaborative pop-up exhibition this Friday 23rd at Dovecot Studios on Infirmary Street, Edinburgh. Watch this space!
