[E]laborate: Ways of Seeing

Thursday 14 November 2013, 7.00 – 9.30 pm

Artiscience Library, Summerhall, Edinburgh
Join us for the next event in our [E]laborate workshop series, where we will be taking a closer look at what happens when science and art collide. This month’s guest speakers are Dr David Carmel, a cognitive neuroscientist at the University of Edinburgh, and Fred Bungay an sculpture student at the Edinburgh College of Art. They will be sharing their perspectives on how artists and scientists can work together in truly collaborative ways, and the talks will be followed by a visual perception workshop where we will try our own hand at getting creative with science.

This is a free event, but we recommend that you bring a smartphone or camera for the workshop activities.
