We will think about what goes in, what comes out and why and how our kidney’s act as a ‘gatekeeper’ keeping us healthy and balanced.

Take stock of our often overlooked bean-shaped organs, zoom in from life-size to infinitesimal scale. Conduct real-life experiments informed by up to the minute research methods. Get hands-on, draw and dissect real kidneys. Learn what microtoming is, have a go yourself. Find out what role colour plays in kidney science research and chat to experts about what effect diet, lifestyle, and age can have.

Find out what happens when this ‘sieve’ goes wrong; ‘No Filter #Urine Trouble’. Without this clever filter, your body would be in trouble so join us for all things kidney and give them some love.
